Check out the program of the Opening Ceremony of the Summer School - July 11th 2016

The opening ceremony to the Jean Monnet Summer School “The Regulation of Robotics in Europe: Legal, Ethical and Economic Implications” will take place in Aula 3 of the Main Campus (Sede Centrale) starting at 9:30 am on Monday July 11th 2016.

The conference on “Regulating Robotics: A Challenge for Europe” will see the participation of the Member of the European Parliament Mady Delvaux-Stehres presenting the work and draft document of the Committee of the European Parliament for the Regulation of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence she chairs, while by Dr. Mihalis Kritikos, Policy Analyst of the European Parliament, will explain the ethical implications addressed by the report.

Maria Chiara Carrozza will discuss the possible role of the Italian Parliament in developing an Italian and European Robotic Industry, and the viewpoints of the industry will be offered by  Arturo Baroncelli (Comau S.p.A.) and Renzo Valleggi (Scientia Machinale S.r.l.).

Nadine Bender will present the Rock EU Action and Fabio Bonsignorio will provide the academic take on regulatory constraints and challenges to Robotics.
